Beware the Ides of March
As the BBC magazine points out, it seems an odd day to have the Education Bill vote given what happened to Julius Caesar on this day 2050 years ago according to a Mr W Shakespeare......

It may of course be a Terribly Cunning Plan which will allow Mr. Blair, should he fail to win his vote or be forced to rely on Tory votes, to compare himself to Julius Caesar, betrayed and stabbed in the back by trusted friends, though hopefully without the horrible messy death.
(I had a letter in the BBC magazine a while ago, did you spot it?)
ooh well done! i've written a couple of times but never got anything published... what was it about?
