Gloucester's Christmas lights switch-on ceremony to go ahead although the lights aren’t there yet
Oh dear. "Some of the lights are still being manufactured in Slovakia" and others have only got as far as Lancashire. But "an illuminated snowman and polar bear [will be supplied] as a gesture of goodwill". So that should cheer things up a tad.
If only there was a way to pin the blame on the penny-pinching Tories now in charge of the City...

I don't understand one minute the lighs are stuck in europe some were and now they are starting to put them up. and with now only two weeks to go they aint all up yet and i want to know whats going on Gloucester city council really going to put them on or is it going to be a waste of time and money.

Good news - the lights were switched on last Thursday. I'm told the look good but I haven't be to see them...
I feel strongly learning the topic, however I need to learn more on this topic.
